Here’s the facts about the role:

We're looking for an experienced End User Technology & Licensing Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring colleagues across the organisation have access to reliable, secure and cost-effective technology. Working closely with IT, Procurement, Finance and other stakeholders across the business, you'll take ownership of our end-user technology estate, including laptops, mobile devices, peripherals and software licensing. You'll lead on technology standards, device lifecycle management, supplier engagement, software asset management and licensing optimisation, while supporting other key projects that improve the digital experience for colleagues across the business.

You'll be responsible for managing complex technology and licensing arrangements, including Microsoft licensing, identifying opportunities for cost savings and service improvements, and ensuring our technology investments remain future-focused, secure and aligned to the needs of the business. You'll also contribute to projects such as device refresh programmes, office refurbishments, meeting room technology upgrades and endpoint management improvements through Microsoft Intune.

We're looking for someone with strong experience in end-user technology, software licensing, IT service delivery or software asset management. You'll have a solid understanding of device lifecycle management, Microsoft licensing and endpoint management technologies such as Microsoft Intune and Android Enterprise, alongside strong commercial awareness and the ability to assess value for money. A confident communicator, you'll be comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels, producing clear documentation and balancing business needs with security, supportability and user experience. You'll be proactive, highly organised and passionate about continuous improvement, with experience of procurement activities, supplier management and delivering technology projects from concept through to implementation. Experience working within a housing association, public sector or other regulated environment is not essential but would be advantageous.
