We’re recruiting for an Estates Supervisor to join our team! Contractually based in Basingstoke and covering surrounding North Hampshire areas, this is a full time, permanent basis working 37 hours per week.

Here’s the facts about the role: 
 
As Estates Supervisor, you’ll supervise and lead a team of Caretakers and Bulk Rubbish operatives who are responsible for providing a first-class caretaking service to communal areas within our properties.  You’ll continually monitor the standard of work to ensure customer satisfaction and that SLA’s are met.  You’ll make sure the team remain fully skilled and monitor their performance, identifying any training needs and supporting them in their professional development. You'll be keen to not only develop the team but grow and develop yourself, keeping qualifications and training up to date.
 

You'll be responsible for the delivery of a consistent caretaking and bulk removal service, ensuring it runs efficiently and effectively. This'll include following and planning rotas and patterns of work, being flexible when ad hoc work needs to be carried out, maintaining our sites to set standards, and supervising your team.
 

You’ll undertake work in progress and post work inspections to make sure work is completed safely, that the correct materials have been used and that the standard is of the required level.  As part of this, you’ll monitor expenditure within the team to make sure that all actions and materials are in line with the principles of ‘Best Value’, managing spending and ensuring its kept within budget and continually monitoring cost effectiveness of your decisions.   
 

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with extensive caretaking experience (domestic or commercial) who has the passion to be a successful and influential leader.  
 

This role requires access to a vehicle suitable for business use; we’ll reimburse you for part of your mileage, so you’ll not be out of pocket!  
 

This role is subject to a DBS check.
