We’re looking for a Grounds Maintenance Team Leader to join our fun, customer focused team. Contractually based out of Basingstoke, you'll cover Basingstoke and the surrounding North Hampshire area. This is a full time, permanent role, working  39 hours per week!

Here’s the facts about the role: 

As a grounds maintenance team leader, you’ll play an important part in delivering excellent customer and community services. You’ll lead, motivate and delegate to the grounds maintenance operatives so they can assist and support you in carrying out grounds maintenance works.  You’ll plan and organise the tools and equipment required for work to be carried out. You’ll also follow standard work routines and tasks on site, with scope to make adjustments in the case of unplanned events. 
 

The grounds maintenance team leader will be accountable for the quality and efficiency of the grounds maintenance work on your sites. We’ll expect you to meet your set targets and support your supervisor to ensure an excellent, value for money service is delivered. 
 

You’ll bring a wealth of knowledge and experience in a grounds maintenance position, along with an NPTC level 2 in the use of pesticides PA1 & PA6. 
 

A full, clean current driving licence (held for at least 1 year) is needed so you can drive one of our vans when necessary. Offers are subject to satisfactory driving licence checks and DBS check.
