We're looking for an experienced Compliance Data Manager to join our team, contractually based out of our Portsmouth office. This a permanent, full time role working 37 hours per week with a minimum of 20% of this to be office based to promote collaboration and team working within the Property Services and Compliance teams and other colleagues across the business.

Here’s the facts about the role: 

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive compliance manager who can combine technical expertise with strong people management skills. You’ll help shape how compliance data is captured, monitored and reported, while fostering a culture of accountability, customer focus and service excellence.  


As Compliance Data Manager you’ll lead the management, integrity and continuous improvement of our property compliance and asset data. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring our compliance data is accurate, robust and audit-ready, supporting our need to meet legislative, regulatory and best practice obligations across our housing portfolio. You will oversee compliance data processes, manage a team of 2 Compliance Data Officers and provide expert guidance on system improvements, compliance reporting and data governance.  


As the expert for compliance data, you will lead initiatives to improve, automate and digitise processes, ensuring data quality, accuracy and operational efficiency. You’ll be responsible for managing compliance audits, maintaining assurance processes, supporting regulatory submissions and ensuring evidence is readily available to demonstrate compliance. Working closely with colleagues across the business, you’ll oversee data reconciliation activities and play a key role in system upgrades and  contractor procurement processes. 


As the successful candidate you will have experience analysing and interpreting complex data, producing meaningful reports, and dashboards & insights that support business decision-making. You ‘ll have strong communication skills, advanced Excel capabilities and a keen eye for detail, with a proven commitment to data accuracy and quality. A good understanding of housing or asset management systems is essential, along with the ability to assess risk, exercise sound professional judgement and make well-reasoned decisions in complex situations. We are looking for someone can work effectively under pressure and demonstrate a commitment to professional standards, continuous learning, equality, diversity and excellent customer outcomes. Whether you've gained your experience within housing or another regulated environment, you’ll have proven experience managing data, supporting compliance activities and driving audit readiness. You'll be highly analytical, detail-oriented and confident working with large volumes of information to ensure accuracy and compliance. 


First stage interviews are due to take place 28 & 29 July 
Second stage interviews are due to take place 5 August in Pen House (subject to change).
