The Vacancy
We’re VIVID! –We offer a vibrant, friendly, inclusive culture that supports, develops and attracts the best people!
We’re looking for a Stock Condition Surveyor to join our team! This is a full-time, permanent position working 37 hours per week. This role is contractually based out of our Basingstoke office and covers stock throughout Hampshire. You’ll spend the majority of your time out and about surveying, but don't worry, we’ll reimburse you for part of your mileage, so you’ll not be out of pocket.
Want to know what we can offer you?
Here’s the facts about the role:
As a stock condition surveyor, you’ll carry out paperless home health checks (also known as stock condition surveys) on dwellings & non-dwelling building assets; managing the survey from start to finish in order to update our asset management database. You’ll take ownership from appointment making stage, through to validating and uploading data into the asset database, making sure that the data is always accurate and up to date. Should your survey pick up any building defects, these will be reported through the appropriate channels. In this role you’ll play a key part in helping us understand the condition of our homes so we can plan future investment and ensure our customers live in safe, well‑maintained properties.
You’ll be a good communicator with a strong customer focus and a drive for customer satisfaction, and the ability to adapt your communication and pitch as appropriate for the audience. You’ll be able to manage your own diary to book and attend appointments and will have the necessary strong time management and prioritisation skills needed to achieve the agreed number of completed surveys weekly. Ultimately working well to deadlines and under pressure during busy periods. As we carry out paperless surveys, you’ll be competent using technology and the systems alongside this with the necessary system training. While experience and knowledge of surveying, asset management, or similar, would be beneficial, training will also be provided where needed.
As this role involves travel, a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use is a requirement. Business mileage will be paid.
Interviews are due to take place 23 June (subject to change).
